orthopaedic plaster cast related content

Welcome to Bricolage. This website provides a space where cast technicians/orthopaedic practitioners can review many work techniques and and see how they dovetail with their own current clinical work practices. They can also read news items and obtain information about changes in our working conditions and working practices throughout the UK. I suggest you view these pages through the Safari or Chrome web browser until a software issue is fixed.

It is possible for cast technicians to comment on the articles and pages of this website by requesting access to the closed Google Group for cast technicians. Use the contact form by following the contact form link at the end of the menu list at the top of each website page.

When you are completing the contact form, please write your e-mail address in the space provided and put your preferred username within the body of the message space when making the request to join. You will then receive an e-mail message informing you of your Google Group membership. Of course, the contact form may also be used for any other type of message you may wish to send to the site owner.

Note: Bricolage was not maintained for a time because of my own ill health. Happily, I am now fully recovered and the usual regular services will be provided from now onwards. It will take me some time to add all of the old site articles but the new look site will be added to as time allows. I have finally worked out that much of the damage to the previous site, by hacking and spam, was unavoidable because of the chosen structure of the website. I now have a new structure and method which will be impervious to the sort of attacks that had stopped the previous incarnation of Bricolage from working efficiently.
